The Protractor Triangle with Handle has a very clear layout of its array of markings and it is inscribed with contrast-enhancing colours, making it easier to distinguish opposite navigation points (e.g. ENE/WSW).
Utilizing two 45° triangles, the Protractor Triangle provides a straightforward method of plotting and performing chart work. With its protractor scales, the handle is easily aligned in any direction with a chart meridian. Direction is maintained as one triangle is slid along the other to the desired position.
